Pushing Laminates into Place

Sliding laminate flooring, with fold in locking systems into place.

This doesn't work for all types of laminate flooring but is a delightful surprise when the locking system allows it.  As always, need to measure carefully cutting the laminate flooring board to slide into the undercut door frame after using the jamb saw.  With the laminate flooring in place simply push the board into position.  On this example, I cut away about 70% of the laminate locking system on the the short edge so that it would fit like a toungue and groove.

To put the laminate board into position I gently tapped to move it into place, notice the foot being used to position the board.

The laminate used was Trend Line GROOVY Class 32 | AC4 | 8mm board.

If you have a room full of doors enjoy the fitting, alternatively call NJRflooring  With the correct tools and experience all the doors will be perfectly undercut with a jamb saw and the laminate flooring positioned under the the door frame.  No silicon to fill the gaps.
